The Renewal Trust is at it again, bringing free play and activity sessions for tiddlers living in Sneinton, St Ann’s and Mapperley.

It’s hoped that the scheme will encourage children to socialise, make friends and grow in confidence from an early age. Older kids will be encouraged to show newcomers the ropes and take part in votes to determine their favourite activities. There will also be celebration events throughout the year recognising and rewarding children’s achievements and giving them the chance to share what they’re learning with family and friends.

To top it all off, The Renewal Trust runs a whole range of sports for children and young people at Brendon Lawrence Sports Centre so if your nippers enjoy Mini Movers they can move onto other sports as they grow, including football and tennis.

We have a favour to ask

LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
