Transport yourself into a magical merry world down Hockley, as this pop-up Christmas venue comes to the city for a limited time only. Offering everything from immersive festive decor to Christmas-themed cocktails, it’s the perfect escape from cold December nights. Keep an eye on their socials to see where it springs up.

Film Screening: St Ann's

A chance to brim with local pride, why not watch Steven Frears’ 1969 documentary film St Ann’s at Lakeside this month? Set before the so-called ‘slum clearance’, it’s a film that explores the everyday life of the community, with research coming from Ken Coates, Bill Silburn and The University of Nottingham. Made possible thanks to the BFI National TV Archive, the historic piece will be followed by a panel discussion.

In their regular series of music events, I’m Not From London are back showcasing the music of four exciting local artists at the Old Bus Depot. Part of the fifty gigs around the sun project, we can’t wait.
