LeftLion Magazine #154

Tuesday 29 November 2022
reading time: min, words

Our December issue is packed full of Nottingham greatness, including Stuart Staples (of Tindersticks fame), Ed Patrick (of book writing fame) and 200 Degrees (of making ridiculously good coffee fame). We also chat to Widmerpool-based fashion designer Samantha Brooke, sit down with Slamovision winner Cara Thompson, catch up with Nottingham Video Games Expo organiser James Jarvis and take a trip to the wonderful Bromley House Library. As if that wasn't enough, we have loads of festive stuff inside too, including a look at the Christmas Covers Party, a deep-dive into the complexity of donating to charity at Christmas, and a Pick Six from none other than Santa Claus himself. We hope you enjoy, and have a fantastic end of year!

We have a favour to ask

LeftLion is Nottingham’s meeting point for information about what’s going on in our city, from the established organisations to the grassroots. We want to keep what we do free to all to access, but increasingly we are relying on revenue from our readers to continue. Can you spare a few quid each month to support us?
